First Class

Here is the first TED talk for this week's class:

https://www.ted.com/talks/ken_robinson_says_schools_kill_creativity

Some discussion questions:

Consider these quotations and state if you agree or disagree, and why:

"Everyone has in interest in education"

"Creativity is as important as literacy"

"If you're not prepared to be wrong, you will never come up with anything original"

"Children get educated out of creativity"

Think about the question, "What is education for?" and the alternative "What should it be for?"

Finally, how do this issues relate to your experience in the Korean education system?
